MT. VERNON - Franklin County authorities are reporting the death of a Mt. Vernon man after he tripped and got stuck under the wheels of a trailer.
Sheriff Paul Fletcher confirmed Tuesday the name of the victim, 48-year-old Alton Walker.
The accident occurred Monday at around 9 p.m. in the Mt. Vernon city cemetery located off CR 2010. Walker was transported to ETMC in Mt. Vernon where he was pronounced dead.
