PARIS - The Texas Department of Transportation has announced the appointment of Bradley Martin as the new director of construction for the Paris District, effective January 1.
A native of Sulphur Springs, Martin has spent his entire 23 year TxDOT career in the Paris District.
He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1988 with a BS degree in civil engineering, at which time Martin began work in the Bonham Area Office as an engineering assistant.
He had served as assistant area engineer from 1994 until 2009. That year, Martin was promoted to his current position as Paris Area Engineer with responsibility for Lamar, Delta and Red River Counties. In August 2010, Hopkins and Franklin Counties were added to the Paris Area Office.
Martin replaces Kevin Harris, who retired in November.
