Gas Prices Drop in Time for Christmas

As Texans prepare to hit the road for the holidays, gas prices have dropped 4 cents this week.

AAA Texas on Wednesday reported that the average price at the pump is $3.05 per gallon. Gas prices nationwide are down a nickel to $3.21 per gallon. According to AAA, Texarkana has the highest price at $3.07, and El Paso the cheapest at an average of $2.95 per gallon. Prices are at their lowest since February 2011.
