COMMERCE - A former student at Texas A&M University-Commerce has been ordered the turn himself in to authorities following a stabbing incident on campus.

Jerald Manuel, of Dallas, suffered stab wounds to his left calf on January 6.

Crime Information Officer Jason Bone tells KETR that an arrest warrant has been issued for Manuel after he entered the apartment of his girlfriend who lives in New Pride Apartments on campus. Manuel has been charged with burglary with intent to commit assault.

Bone says he believes that Manuel, who was a student at A&M-Commerce, withdrew from school after the alleged offense.
