The Wolfe City Rodeo brought two nights of riding, roping and community tradition to Wolfe City on Aug. 7 and 8.
Photographer Shalimar Diaz De Leon of Shalimar Photography spent Friday night capturing the action, along with the families, faces and quieter moments surrounding the arena. She shared a selection of some of her favorite images with KETR, focusing on what she described as the “fun and family side” of the rodeo.
Presented by the Wolfe City Riding Club, the annual rodeo draws competitors and spectators to Wolfe City for a longtime Northeast Texas summer tradition.
Here’s a look at the 2026 Wolfe City Rodeo through Diaz De Leon’s lens.
