I.D. theft suspect gets 15 years behind bars

GREENVILLE - A Greenville resident is the latest defendant to be sentenced after pleading guilty in a widespread I.D. theft ring.

Jessica Jones was alleged to have been one of four people to have obtained and/or used identification information from nearly 100 people in 2010. She was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Jones is the ninth person sentenced in the case, with charges pending against nine more defendants.
