Investors have won a legal victory against R. Allen Stanford, who orchestrated a massive Ponzi scheme that cost them billions of dollars.
A federal appeals court is now allowing class-action lawsuits to go forward against individuals and companies who are alleged to have aided the financier’s fraud. Stanford was convicted earlier this month.
