Cumby man admits to sexting, will serve time

GREENVILLE - A former Rains County school district employee has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to sexting.

Ronny Thomas Trevillion, of Cumby, admitted to solicitation of a minor during a court appearance Wednesday. As part of a plea deal, he was given four years behind bars.

The indictment against Trevillion alleges he sent a sexually explicit text message to a minor female in February 2011. He was arrested last summer.

As a condition of Trevillion’s bond he was forbidden to working at any job where he would have contact with or access to any child of less than 18 years of age.
