Google Maps

RENO - Lamar County authorities have identified 27-year-old Trey Graven Harvey as the deceased, and charged 28-year-old Steven Curtis Larue with murder.

Reno Police Chief Matt Birch tells The Paris News that his department and Lamar County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the shooting call in the 500 block of Key West Road about 11:20 p.m. Saturday and found Harvey dead. Online jail records indicate Larue was being held on $250,000 bond.

It’s the second death by gunfire in Lamar County within a week.

Last Wednesday, 40-year-old Kathleen Elizabeth Erskine allegedly shot her husband multiple times, who died at their Arthur City home. She’s reportedly confessed to the killing and is in custody also on $250,000 bond.
