The campaign of Republican John Ratcliffe, one of several challengers hoping to unseat U.S. Rep. Ralph Hall in the race to represent the 4th Texas Congressional District, hosted an event in Commerce on Feb. 24. Over 20 supporters attended the gathering, and Ratcliffe spoke with KETR about his differences with the longtime incumbent.
Ratcliffe cited fiscal policies, national security and immigration policy as areas of difference. Ratcliffe, a former U.S. attorney and current partner in the law firm of former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft, has a well-funded campaign that exceeds Hall's in financial support.
