Master Gardeners host horticulture contest at Hunt County Fair April 30

Hunt County Master GardenerStephanie Suesan Smith tells us that the Master Gardeners will accept entries in the annual horticulture contest at the Hunt County Fair from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, April 30.  Judging of the events will begin at 6:30.  The Hunt County Fair runs from April 24-may 3.  Other upcoming events are the programs, "Monarchs: From Miracle to Disaster" at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 16 at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center and "Beekeeping for the Beginner" at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 18 at the Outdoor Learning Center, 2213 Washington St.  Both events are free.
