Cindy Roller, the editor of the Cooper Review, says the Texas Highway Department will begin construction of a new bridge over the North Sulphur River on Hwy. 24 between Cooper and Paris on August 30.  Work will begin first on the northbound bridge and traffic will be diverted, two-way, to the southbound bridge.  Cindy also discusses a reunion of pen pals after 75 years of exchanging letters.
