Want To Fly? Majors Flying Club May Be For You

Pud Kearns with Housewarmers of Greenville says the Majors Flying Club of Greenville meets at 11:30 Saturay at the L3 Recreation Hall.  Their meeting topic is "10 Tips for Recovering Bad Landings."  The club is for pilots and people interested in becoming pilots.  Members have access to the club's planes, which are maintained at the Majors Field Airport.  Other events coming up include the 12th annual Heritage Dinner benefitting the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, August 19 at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center in Greenville, and the Bras for the Cause Kick-Off Party, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, August 24 at Landon's Winery.
