Texas A&M University-Commerce Archivist Emeritus Dr. Jim Conrad discusses the biography of Hunt County's Audie Murphy, "No Name on the Bullet" by University of Texas historian Don Graham. "Audie Murphy Days" will be celebrated May 15-16 at the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum in Greenville.
Murphy was the United States' most decorated soldier in World War II and went on to a very successful movie career. Jim, who represents the Friends of the Commerce Public Library, also says the summer reading program will be starting again in June.
