One person died at the scene of a vehicle rollover crash in Hunt County Saturday (July 25) afternoon. The accident happened shortly after 1 p.m. on State Highway 34 North near County Road 2241, south of Greenville.

Laura Lee Coleman, 41, was killed in the crash. Her husband, Christopher Lee Coleman, 49, was driving. He sustained non-life-threatening injruies, officials said.

“The passenger didn’t make it," said Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Kyle Bradford told the Greenville Herald Banner.

Another vehicle was involved in the accident. Bradford told the Herald Banner that a black Chevrolet Equinox was traveling the other direction on Highway 34 “and failed to maintain a lane of travel.”

The incident is still under investigation.
