HUNT COUNTY - A number of Hunt County candidates have come forward within the last several days seeking office in next year’s elections.
Terry Jones will seek another term as Constable for Precinct 1. He’s served in law enforcement in Hunt County since 1994.
Wolfe City resident David Nunn plans to run for Precinct 3 Constable. A 30 year veteran of the Greenville Police Department, Nunn will retire at the end of next year.
Raymond Hopson has also recently announced his candidacy for 354th District Court Judge. Hopson is a former Dallas Fire Department Captain and has lived in Hunt County since 1979.
Filing for the March primary continues through December 12.
