GREENVILLE - Candidates for five area runoff races July 31 will take part in a candidate forum Monday in Greenville.
The event, hosted by the Hunt County GOP Club, will begin at 7 p.m., July 9 at the Landmark on Lee Street, 2980 Lee Street.
Candidates scheduled to speak include Justice, 5th Court of Appeals, Hunt County Tax Assessor-Collector, County Commissioner Precinct 1, Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 and County Republican Party Chairman.
“There has been a lot of local interest in the political process this year, and we want to help the citizens of Hunt County make an informed vote in this upcoming election," said Tim Stainback, president of the HCGOP Club.
