Points of Interest, Episode 05: Life in The Universe

Author Arthur C. Clarke once said, "Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying." Science fiction has become a huge part of our culture today - humanoid aliens are often featured on television and in movies, but life out there may not be anything near what we imagine.

In this episode of Points of Interest host Emma Anderson and Texas A&M University-Commerce professor of Astronomy, Dr. Williams, discuss life in the universe, our infatuation with it, and how we are trying to find out if "there's anybody out there".

Emma Anderson is KETR’s podcast aficionado and conducts all sorts of tasks related to off-air audio from mixing to hosting and production. Emma is a graduate of Greenville High School and and current student in the Texas A&M University Commerce- Honors College. She is double majoring in Journalism: Broadcast and Visual Communication: New Media as well as double minoring in Math and Computer Science.
