Following a lifelong dream of living, performing and learning in New York City, fifth-generation Texan Barton Stanley David has returned to his home state with a renewed spirit for making music. Settling back into Dallas, David began a lengthy process of recording and producing his latest album Crest which features his soaring vocals, carefully crafted lyrics, and tight production from Jeff Saenz and Scarlett Deering.
Notably Texan caught up with Barton from his home to discuss the change in lifestyle from NYC to Texas, his recent marriage, and some of his favorites from the new album due in April. The debut single, Cicada, released in February.
