Series Information
Wednesday's game will be the 22nd in the series between the Lions and the Reddies, with A&M-Commerce holding a 13-8 advantage after its 75-74 road win last month. Lion head coach Sam Walker is 4-0 all-time against the Reddies.

The Week That Was
The weather finally cooperated and the Lions were able to take advantage, getting payback for its only loss of the season by blasting Northwood, 105-75, on Wednesday at The Field House. Kameron Price led A&M-Commerce with 22 points and the Lions hit 10 three-point buckets as a team to move to 9-1 on the season.

A Start For the Record Book
A&M-Commerce saw its 8-0 start to the season come to an end on Dec. 3, but the Lions still found themselves among some elite company. The start tied for the second-best winning streak to start a season, pulling even with the 1953-54 team that advanced to the NAIA quarterfinals.

Price Is Right
Kameron Price had a season-high 22 points in A&M-Commerce's 30-point win over Northwood on Wednesday night. The senior from Fort Worth hit all seven of his shots from the charity stripe, and three of his four three-point tries in the game, while adding six rebounds, three steals and a pair of assists.

Wall Of Macauley
In addition to his 9.6 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, A&M-Commerce big man Christian Macauley has been stellar as the Lions' last line of defense. The junior from Washington D.C. leads the Lone Star Conference with 2.6 blocks per game after adding three more to his season total on Wednesday. He has at least one block in every game this season for the Lions, with multiple blocks in seven of A&M-Commerce's 10 games to date. Lee Johnson holds the single-season school record with 84 blocks (2.8 bpg), set in 1978-79.

At Or Near The Top
With its 9-1 start, it stands to reason to think the Lions would be at or near the top of most statistical categories in the Lone Star Conference. To date, the Lions rank second in points (88.7 ppg) and blocks (4.0 bpg), while leading in total rebounding (45.4 rpg).

Individually, LaDon Carnegie ranks eighth in the LSC in scoring (15.1 ppg), while Christian Macauley ranks sixth in rebounding (6.4 rpg), eighth in field-goal percentage (55.7) and first in blocks (2.6 bpg). Guard De'Andre Carson leads the league in assist/turnover ratio (7.0), while Kameron Price is seventh with 1.8 steals per game.
