Judy Woods, representing the Greenville Symphony Series, says season tickets and indvidual concert tickets are on sale for three performances of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in the Greenville Municipal Auditorium during the 2019-20 season.  It will be the 46th season of DSO performances in Greenville, with performances set for Friday, November 15; Thursday, February 20; and Saturday, May 20.

Hunt County Historical Commission chairman Carol Taylor says the Greenville Municipal Building, and the Municipal Auditorium inside, will be 75 years old this Friday, October 24.  The city of Greenville is planning a major observance of the event next week.

Greenville Convention and Visitors Bureau director Milton Babb says the weekend of January 30-February 1 is a busy one for the Greenville Municipal Auditorium, with three concerts in three nights, including the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Friday night January 31.  And the legendary Loretta Lynn will perform at GMA on Friday night, February 28.  Also, Milton says the new Splash Kingdom water park is expected to attract around 80,000 visitors to Greenville this summer.
