Indictments given in Commerce robbery

Commerce – Indictments have been handed down in connection to a reported armed robbery in Commerce. All three suspects one each from Greenville, Commerce and Emory were also indicted Friday by the Hunt County grand jury for possession of crack cocaine and the individual from Greenville was also charged with aggravated sexual assault. Markus Ladane Stephenson, of Greenville; George Washington Sharper, of Commerce; and Melroy Lynn Anderson, of Emory, were arrested in July 2007 after a report of an armed robbery in the 2500 block of Solomon Drive in Commerce.
