Greenville – A guilty verdict has been returned in a Greenville murder case. Joshua William Lay was found guilty Wednesday of the murder last summer of Darryl Wayne Feggett.
Lay had pleaded not guilty, claiming the August 2009 shooting was in self-defense. A jury took only 25 minutes to reach the verdict.
A judge will determine Lay's sentence during a November 4 hearing.
