Search for murder suspect continues

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – The search for Greenville murder suspect Tyron Laron McCurdy enters its third week.

Two individuals have already been arrested in connection to the murder of Treybbian Leekey Nelson. But McCurdy, the first suspect indentified to have been involved in Nelson's death, remains at large.

He's considered armed and dangerous. Hunt County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 leading to McCurdy's arrest.

Within days of Nelson's murder, Greenville authorities apprehended 22-year-old Bernard Dale Kelly, Jr. and a juvenile, who both remained in custody at last report.

Nelson died from injuries sustained following a Feb. 8 shooting in the 1000 block of Edgar Street.
