Family mourning loss of children in recent fire

By Scott Harvey

Bonham – A Fannin County family continues to mourn the loss of their two children who were killed in a fire earlier this month.

D.J. Gregory and his fiance Alicia Moncier are currently unable to afford headstones to pay proper tribute to four-year-old Clara and 17-month-old Kendra, who died in the March 6 fire at their Bonham home. The couple's six-year-old daughter and her 11-year-old cousin who were also at the home got out safely.

The fire started in the living room and is believed caused by a space heater.

Clara and Kendra were buried last week, with most of the funeral costs covered by donations.

You can provide additional assistance to the Gregory family by contributing to a fund set up through Bank of the Ozarks in Frisco or First National Bank of Trenton.
