SULPHUR SPRINGS - Billy Emerson of Sulphur Bluff has announced that he'll run for Hopkins County Commissioner for Precinct 3. The positions is currently held by Don Patterson, who is retiring.
Emerson is the manager of the North Hopkins Water Supply Corporation and serves on the Sulphur Bluff School Board.
