YOUR 5 Day Weather Forecast for the week of Monday April 30th

As storm season hits its mid-life, Mother Nature is deciding to prove it in the western counties.

The National Weather Service predicts that strong supercell storms should form in the Panhandle Monday afternoon. These storms could produce very large hail, damaging winds, and few tornadoes.

The last time Northeast Texas has seen severe weather was back on April 3rd, when 17 confirmed tornadoes touched down around the region. Thankfully, no one was killed.

The rest of the week should be rainless with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms Monday evening. The temperatures should stay in the mid to high 80's this week and should stay that way through next week!

As the school year comes to a close, stay with KETR for your latest weather updates and forecasts so you can plan your weekends!

Have a blessed day and stay safe!
