DALLAS - The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the body found inside Monday’s house fire as that of the owner, Roger Hooper.
The Paris business owner was found in the bedroom of his burned Brookston home along Highway 82 on Monday. While the body has been identified, a cause of the fire and manner of death remains in question.
Lamar County and the State Fire Marshall’s office are investigating.
