One Dead, Two Injured in Sulphur Springs Knife Fight

One man is dead and two other injured after an apparent knife fight in Sulphur Springs Tuesday.

The Sulphur Spring News Telegram reports that 27 year old Justin Daniel Pawlik was pronounced dead at the scene in the 100 block of Bill Bradford Road with knife wounds to his neck and chest.  Pawlik was found after 10pm Tuesday when police were called to a nearby residence and found 36 year old Dionne Penny and her current boyfriend, 30 year old Clinton Weldon Wilson, with various non-life threatening knife wounds.

Penny was Pawlik’s former girlfriend.

Police said initial information indicated that Penny was at Wilson’s home when Pawlik went to the residence and an altercation involving a knife occurred outside.

No charges have yet been filed in the incident.  Police and Texas Rangers continue to investigate.
