Garrett to fill public information officer vacancy

PARIS - Paris Police Officer Curtis Garrett will assume duties as public information officer Monday. 

Garrett replaces Matt Birch, who was recently named police chief for the City of Reno.

Garrett has been with the Paris Police Department for 23 years and has worked in uniform patrol, SWAT and has been the warrant officer for the department for about the last 12 years.
