WEST TAWAKONI - The victim of an alleged case of child abuse in West Tawakoni is expected to recover from her injuries.
The mother and her boyfriend, Erin Elizabeth Saari and Trevor Scott Copeland, are each jailed on $1 million bond for injury to a child.
According to Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks, the two-year-old girl was to be released from a Dallas hospital sometime Tuesday.
Investigators had been involved in the alleged abuse case since earlier this month after receiving a call from Hunt Regional Medical Center. The two suspects were arrested last week.
