COMMERCE - Funeral services were pending Monday for George Ellis, the Texas A&M University-Commerce student who died Saturday of natural causes.
The 61-year-old Ellis, of Sulphur Springs, was pronounced dead at 3:30 a.m. that morning inside his Prairie Crossing Apartment unit.
Lt. Jason Bone with UPD tells KETR that no foul play is suspected and no autopsy was ordered. Authorities were notified of the situation after receiving a call from Ellis’ roommate.
Funeral arrangements are with West Oaks Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs.
