GREENVILLE - Trial begins today in connection to a 2010 gun battle with Hunt County law enforcement.
Francisco Javier Davila-Rodriguez faces a total of six felony counts, including four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a public servant. The incident stemmed reportedly from when Davila-Rodriguez allegedly shot an individual earlier that day.
He has pleaded not guilty.
Jury selection begins today. 15 witnesses have been subpoenaed to testify during the trial.
