The National Weather Service says a winter weather advisory covered the area before dawn. Schools in San Angelo were starting two hours late Monday due to the threat of icy roads. Forecasters say the Dallas-Fort Worth area faced a chance of snow and light sleet Monday. Rain fell before dawn.
