GREENVILLE - A Hunt County judge has scheduled an April interim hearing for a child abuse suspect after he entered a not guilty plea.
Trevor Scott Copeland of Quinlan entered the plea Wednesday. His alleged co-defendant, Erin Elizabeth Saari of West Tawakoni, will possibly enter a plea when she appears in court next week.
The two are charged with assaulting Saari’s two-year-old daughter. They were arrested last September and remain in custody on $1 million bond apiece.
