QUINLAN - One man is dead and another in critical condition following a two vehicle wreck Thursday morning in South Hunt County.
76-year-old Delmer Earls of Quinlan was pronounced dead after a truck reportedly struck the driver’s side door of the van he was driving at around 7:30 a.m.
The Texas Department of Public Safety reports that Earls’ vehicle failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of State Highway 276 and CR 3608, pulling in front of James T. McBride.
The 78-year-old McBride, also of Quinlan, was receiving treatment at Parkland Hospital Thursday afternoon.
