BELLS - The victim’s name has not been released. Authorities say she was riding in a van Tuesday when it collided with a semi-truck at the intersection of Highway 56 and Highway 69 in Bells.
The woman was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the semi-truck also received treatment.
The Bells Police Department is handling the investigation. No one was available to comment further on the accident as of early Thursday morning.
