HUNT COUNTY - A Hunt County woman has died and two Mesquite citizens hospitalized in a head-on collision Thursday night.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says the accident happened at about 10:30 p.m. along FM 118 north of Greenville.
53-year-old Brenda Jo Chapman was pronounced dead at the scene. State Troopers say the Greenville woman was traveling northbound when her vehicle crossed the center line, striking the southbound car.
Transported to a Plano hospital were 33 year old Sabrina McCardel and 20 year old Chase Stallings, who were riding in the other vehicle. Their conditions were not known.
