GREENVILLE - Anthony Ray Morgan has pleaded guilty to leading officers on a high speed case in February at speeds in excess of 100 mph.
As part of a plea deal struck Monday, Morgan was sentenced to six years behind bars.
An officer attempted to stop Morgan along U.S. Highway 69 going 14 mph over the speed limit. But a chase ensued; with speeds clocked as high as 111 mph.
Morgan was eventually apprehended after his car broke down in a pasture of CR 1065 in Rains County.
