1 Year Later, Hallman's Disappearance Still in Question

GREENVILLE - His last form of communication with anyone came in a text message to his wife on July 23, 2011. 12 months later, the mystery surrounding a missing Greenville business executive continues.

The investigation into what happened to Matthew Hallman remains open, but Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks says no new leads have surfaced in months.

Hallman was last known to be performing routine maintenance at a home the couple owned in south Greenville along Bethel Road. He indicated to his wife he was leaving for their Rockwall home but never arrived there. Hallman’s wallet and other personal items were found, along with his vehicle, at the residence.

Foul play has also been ruled out by investigators.
