Jacket Weather: Cold Front on the Way!

Daniel Starks
/
KETR

It's late October, and it still feels like summer in Northeast Texas, but not for long! A cold front is expected to come through later on this week.

Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny for most of the region with highs in the mid 80s. Wednesday should be the same with some wind picking up later on in the day.

Thursday is a different story. It should start off as partly sunny and then gradually become more cloudy as the day progresses with winds as high as 25 mph. Late Thursday night and early Friday morning a cold front should move through the region dropping the temperature by nearly 30 degrees and bringing rain and storms for Friday.

It should all clear up by Saturday bringing sunny skies and highs near 59.
