A third local resident has been indicted on multiple charges of child endangerment for allegedly exposing small children to a variety of illegal drugs.Belinda Marshall Foster of Greenville entered not guilty pleas Monday during an arraignment hearing in the 354th District Court on three counts of endangering a child by an act.

Judge Richard A. Beacom accepted the plea and scheduled an interim hearing for Thursday of this week. The indictments were issued sealed by the Hunt County Grand Jury last month pending Belinda Foster’s arrest and arraignment on the charges.

The indictments against Justin LaShun Foster and Johnny Francis Foster were also issued by the panel last month. Justin Foster was arraigned and pleaded not guilty Friday to the same three charges at a tentative trial date set for March 11, 2013. Johnny Foster has arraignment on two counts of endangering a child by an act scheduled for December 19.

All three defendants were alleged in the indictments to have acted alongside three other individuals in exposing children of less than 14 years of age to cocaine, marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, opioids, and more to have smoked and/or sold the substances from a residence on the 2200 block of St. John’s Street in Greenville on or about May 4.
