Commerce High School earns four accountability distinctions

With the 2015-16 school year beginning today (Monday, August, 24), Commerce High School recently earned four of a possible six academic distinctions in the Texas Education Agency accountability ratings.  Commerce Middle School earned two.  Commerce ISD superintendent Blake Cooper, who recently earned the honor of Region 10 Superintendent of the Year, says the district is will pay for CHS students to take college dual credit classes this year.  Cooper says enrollment is up, with some students transferring to Commerce from other nearby districts.
