In an undercover drug bust the Delta County Sheriff’s officers arrested Gerald Thomas of Cooper for Manufacture Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Drug Free Zone) (Felony 3).
According to the report on Sept. 6 at approximately 10:09 p.m. Thomas sold suspected methamphetamine to an individual on N.W. 1st street in Cooper. Deputies quickly took Thomas into custody once the drug purchase was made.
Delta County Lieutenant Ryan Brown and Deputy Tanner Steward set up a successful undercover operation.
“I would like to personally commend Lieutenant Ryan Brown and Deputy Tanner Steward for their successful efforts. In cases like these our deputies motivate one another on fighting the war on drugs,” said Delta County Chief Deputy Charla Singleton.
