Spirit Of Giving Outreach Celebrates Sixth Year

Spirit of Giving event grows more and more each year in Delta County.
Cooper Review
Spirit of Giving event grows more and more each year in Delta County.

It’s almost Christmas which means it’s time for the Sixth Annual Spirit of Giving. This community outreach program was started six years ago to give back to the Delta County community.

The Spirit of Giving will be on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 11 a.m. at the Delta County Civic Center in Cooper, Texas. There will have stations set up with toys, blankets, and household items. There will also be a drawing for bicycles at 10:30 a.m. Each child and adult that attends will be given tickets and then will get to go shopping at the stations or enter a ticket in the bicycle drawing.

If there are any businesses, organizations, churches, or individuals that would like to donate items, food, money, or help serve, please contact Amanda Sepulveda at 903.438.6359 or asep4594@yahoo.com. There is a storage facility available if need to deliver items before Dec. 1 or they may be dropped off Friday, Dec. 1 at the Delta County Civic Center on Bonham Street in Cooper.

“Thank you for your continued support of this great community outreach program and may God bless you all this Christmas season!” said Amanda Sepulveda.
