Dr. LaVelle Hendricks, Texas A&M-Commerce associate professor of counseling, relates plans for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day observances at 2:30 Sunday at Mount Moriah Temple Baptist Church in Commerce, and at 7 p.m. Monday evening at the Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs. The events are presented by the Hunt-Hopkins County African-American Leadership Conference.
