Two Northeast Texas development organizations will get a share of more than $3 million in grant money from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. The agency today announced grants to fund 19 recreational trail-related projects across the state.
In Wood County, the Mineola Economic Development Corporation is getting $200,000 towards the International and Great Northern Recreational Hiking and Biking Trail.
The Great Paris Development Foundation Inc. in Red River County will get more than $177,000 towards the 5-mile Rails to Trails Bagwell to Clarksville project.
