As Hunt County Reaches Its 175th Birthday, How Has Greenville Changed Since 1991 (30 Years!)?

City of Greenville

Carol Taylor, chairman of the Hunt County Historical Commission, created a tour of north Greenville for the city's 145th anniversary in 1991, and now, as Hunt County nears its 175th birthday, she's revisiting her tour to see how downtown and the residential area to the north have changed.  Downtown Greenville and the north Greenville area comprise most of the original townsite of the city.

John Mark Dempsey is the host of the public interest program The Blacklands Café from KETR News. Dempsey is also the play-by-play announcer for Commerce Tigers Football on 88.9 FM and on ketr.org.
