These might not be wheels on a bus but TexTrail Trailer Parts is processing wheels with great speed in their location in Delta County. What is known locally as the former SureStart building, TexTrail has been open for just over six months.
Plant Manager Rick Thiemer was balancing the operations on Monday morning making sure each employee functioned together as a well-oiled machine. They recently received a second new LA machine that helps the process of mounting the tires prior to shipping. On a good day it can mount 3,500 tires.
TexTrail Trailer Parts is located at 4140 Steel Bar Road in Cooper. As a company TexTrail has been in business since 1981. With 16 locations across the U.S., TexTrail continues to grow and give their customers and future clients the best of the best. Thiemer was excited to announce they can now sell to the public – selling primarily cargo, utility, boat, as well as horse, and livestock trailer parts. On their website textrail.com they inform the public they are carrying a full line of axles, ball/ball mounts, body and frame, dump bed components, brakes, cargo control, couplers, and toolboxes along with winches, jacks, hitches, locks and latches, marine, breakaway controllers, and more. They also deal locally with JT’s Automotive Garage in Cooper.
“We want to help Cooper,” said Plant Manager Rick Thiemer, who recently joined the Delta County Chamber of Commerce. “The majority of our employees live in Delta County. …If you need tires, come and see us.” Their company offers a benefits package and opportunities for their employees. Warehouse Manager is Lynn Anderson, and Office Administrator is Mary Anderson.
On average the plant can assemble around 60,000 per month. The warehouse is stacked to the ceiling with inventory, and with their excellent location convenient to State Highway 24 they ship out semi-truck trailers full of processed tires.
