Emily Glass, our commentator on events in Sulphur Springs and former mayor, reflects on the honor of Wastewater Treatment Plant of the Year in the state of Texas, received by the city's wastewater facility.

The facility had “consistent outstanding performance” of all Texas cities processing up to 15 million gallons per day, according to the Water Environment Association of Texas. Emily also discusses the $93 million dollar bond election coming up Saturday, May 7 in the Sulphur Springs ISD.
